The creation of a vibrant core was the key component in programming Downtown Markham, a new mixed-use urban development to be erected where farmland currently exists.  In keeping with the spirit of pedestrian-friendly urban environments, the strategic planning explores building massing, merchandising zones, leisure and cultural amenities and environmental iconography.
