With the goal of adding an authentic and laid-back lifestyle vibe to the existing Village at Corte Madera, GH+A was tasked with developing design concepts that reflect the community’s expectations and correspond to the local aesthetic. A major focus was placed on a large-scaled feature tree, balanced with landscape and hardscape that addresses the grade offset, as well as opportunities for small public gatherings and mini-events. Concepts include opportunities for local pop-up food vendors, food trucks and sponsorship platforms.
