The objective was to turn a vast dark space into a naturally lit environment that would create a happier shopping experience. Cosmetics, Fragrance and Jewelry were purposely located in the open centre court under the new open ceiling letting in natural light making buying decisions easier. Custom modular frame systems cladded in various bespoke materials + finishes, help delineate departments and brands creating interesting visual site lines and a more fluid shopping journey. The natural light continues to draw you in and up the escalator where unique wooden light grid formations hovered over Menswear and Home creating a residential feel as well as acting as wayfinding beacons. Emotionally connecting with customers through light, scale and intimacy.
